Description

  • Join Critical Mass’s freelance pool for current or upcoming projects.
  • Write copy ranging from big-idea headlines and scripts to social posts, web content, and long-form pieces.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Create graphic, digital, brand, and motion designs using strong typography, thoughtful layouts, and systems thinking.
  • Develop campaigns across formats or work within established brand guidelines.
  • Guide visual concepts from initial idea through production.
  • Collaborate with copywriters and direct designers, photographers, or illustrators toward a shared vision.
  • Lead teams and develop ideas shaped by strategy.
  • Present ideas confidently to stakeholders.
  • Maintain quality from brief through launch.

Requirements

  • Provide a portfolio that demonstrates your thinking as well as finished work.
  • Bring professional experience in your discipline, whether agency-side, in-house, or freelance.
  • Work comfortably to tight timelines, take feedback, and collaborate with new colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly about scope, availability, and deadlines.
  • Use tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or After Effects.
