Freelance Brand Designer — Hybrid Johannesburg
Create brand and co-branding assets for integrated advertising channels, applying typography, brand guidelines, and visual systems under the direction of the ECD and COO.
Description
- Create and deliver brand and co-branding designs
- Apply brand identities consistently across integrated channels
- Develop and refine brand guidelines and design systems
- Turn approved concepts, messaging, and creative direction into engaging visual work
- Partner with the content team to realize ideas through design
- Produce typography, graphic screens, end boards, and other branded assets
- Offer creative thinking and practical visual solutions
- Uphold a consistently high standard across every deliverable
- Help develop and apply established brand concepts across integrated channels
- Report to the ECD and COO
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant design experience
- Strong practical experience in brand design and brand application
- Demonstrated experience creating co-branded materials and brand guidelines
- Strong typography, layout, and visual design capabilities
- Experience designing for integrated channels
- Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
- Ability to collaborate with senior creative and operational leaders
- Portfolio showing relevant brand design work
- Personal laptop and licensed design software
- Include your availability and a link to a relevant online portfolio
- Advertising agency experience is optional if you have strong, relevant brand design experience
