FPS Game Designer at Sperasoft – Hybrid in Armenia

Design and refine gameplay, balance, and major features for a AAA first-person shooter at Sperasoft. Partner with directors, engineers, artists, and producers throughout development.

Description

  • Partner with the Game Director and design team on decisions for a large-scale AAA first-person shooter
  • Define and communicate the direction for major features, design initiatives, and substantial overhauls
  • Facilitate brainstorming workshops and playtest sessions
  • Collaborate with engineering, art, and production teams to shape, tune, and implement gameplay designs
  • Take ownership of complex, high-impact game areas with limited supervision
  • Review internal and external metrics and feedback to improve designs and game balance
  • Support prototyping, balance development, and gameplay tuning

Requirements

  • Professional game design experience on first- or third-person shooter titles
  • Full-cycle, multidisciplinary development experience, including at least one shipped game design project
  • Working knowledge of 3D level and game design tools, especially Unreal Engine 5
  • Strong creative judgment and close attention to both creative and technical detail
  • Highly developed creative skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with project management methods and software
  • Passion for gaming and a broad enthusiasm for games
  • Professional proficiency in spoken, written, and technical English
