Founders Associate Intern – Berlin Onsite

Support Taxforce’s founding team across acquisitions, operations, automation, reporting, and investor relations. Help build Germany’s AI-powered tax advisory firm from its Berlin office.

Description

  • Research, screen, and initiate outreach to potential acquisition targets while maintaining the pipeline.
  • Assist with onboarding and integrating newly acquired practices.
  • Document processes and coordinate post-merger work across firms.
  • Find fragmented manual workflows and develop AI-first automations.
  • Deploy solutions directly with appropriate tools.
  • Build and maintain reporting and financial planning systems.
  • Prepare investor updates, board materials, and internal documentation.
  • Manage recurring processes and resolve operational gaps.
  • Complete operational work and automate tasks where feasible.
  • Collaborate directly with the founding team on M&A and operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate drive and ambition in a fast-moving startup setting.
  • Bring initial practical experience from internships or working-student roles, ideally in consulting, investment banking, or technology.
  • Be currently studying at or have graduated from a respected university or business school.
  • Apply logical reasoning, decompose complex problems, and prioritise competing tasks.
  • Use AI tools confidently and implement small-scale automations.
  • Learn new tools and skills quickly and willingly.
  • Show an entrepreneurial approach and remain effective amid ambiguity and rapid iteration.
  • Contribute as a collaborative team member who shares knowledge naturally.
  • Have German language proficiency.
  • Work from the office five days per week.
