Financial Analyst, Singapore (Hybrid) – Johnson & Johnson

Support DePuy Synthes international finance with planning, reporting, compliance, and transformation activities. Build forecasts, dashboards, reconciliations, and analyses while partnering with regional finance teams.

Description

  • Coordinate planning, reporting, compliance, and transformation work for the DS International Office Finance Manager
  • Compile actuals, forecasts, Long-Term Plans, Business Plans, Flash reports, and Budget-versus-Actual analyses
  • Produce recurring reports, management dashboards, and presentation materials for business reviews
  • Evaluate financial results to surface trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Contribute to Monthly Business Reviews and recurring planning activities
  • Maintain financial models and reporting resources
  • Help ensure sound financial management and accurate system records
  • Perform balance sheet reviews, accrual work, reconciliations, and control activities
  • Gather and document information for statutory, tax, compliance, and audit needs
  • Conduct data collection, analysis, and reconciliation for AK19 equity clearing
  • Support accurate cost allocation across sourcing entities
  • Contribute to reporting standardization, process documentation, testing, training, and implementation
  • Recommend ways to make reporting more efficient, consistent, and automated
  • Create dashboards and tools for performance reporting
  • Contribute to finance transformation and ongoing improvement programs
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Global Services, Tax, and Regional Finance partners
  • Deliver accurate information on time and raise risks, issues, and data-quality concerns
  • Take part in team meetings, planning sessions, onboarding, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related discipline
  • Two to four years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, business partnering, or a related area
  • Background supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and practical problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Capacity to balance competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical capability
  • Careful, accurate approach to financial work
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Adaptable approach and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently while advancing team goals
  • Preferred: Master’s degree or progress toward ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification
  • Preferred: Experience at Johnson & Johnson, in MedTech, or within a multinational company
  • Preferred: Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, or system implementation
  • Preferred: Familiarity with SAP, Anaplan, CFIN, Power BI, or comparable finance and reporting platforms
  • Preferred: Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls
