Description

  • Build financial models and analyze financial data to support operational and business decisions
  • Conduct variance analysis to uncover trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Compare actual results with budgets, forecasts, and operational plans
  • Analyze operational, technology, and customer datasets to create reports and actionable insights
  • Identify meaningful trends and develop recommendations from quantitative analysis
  • Compile, validate, organize, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources
  • Write, edit, read, and interpret SQL queries for reporting and analysis
  • Use laboratory systems, data marts, and reporting tools to extract and analyze information
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders
  • Research and assess complex projects with financial, operational, and technical dimensions
  • Evaluate process methodologies and their financial impact on business initiatives
  • Recommend and help implement new protocols, methodologies, and processes
  • Support leadership with strategic initiatives and stakeholder implementation plans
  • Present analytical findings, financial results, and recommendations to business users and leaders
  • Connect analytical findings to business impacts involving pricing, volume, revenue, and operational performance
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to assess performance, identify trends, build financial models, and advance strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • Associate degree in finance
  • At least one year of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, revenue cycle management, accounting, finance, healthcare analytics, or data analytics
  • Ability to explain complex financial and analytical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with leaders and partners across finance, operations, information technology, and other stakeholder groups
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Understanding of how pricing, volume, revenue, and other business performance drivers relate
  • Availability during standard business hours, with additional hours as needed for business requirements and reporting deadlines
