Field Service Technician, Lift Trucks
Repair and maintain Crown and other makes of lift trucks at customer sites. The role also includes planned maintenance, service van inventory, and job documentation.
Description
- Diagnose and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks
- Carry out scheduled maintenance on customer lift trucks
- Keep the service van and its inventory in order
- Complete paperwork after each job
Requirements
- Fewer than two years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to operate lift trucks safely
- Sound mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines
- Ability to interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with equipment such as hand tools, electrical and air tools, torches, arc welders, and testing instruments
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan work, and follow through
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered
