Experienced Accountant - PwC Amsterdam Hybrid

Audit client annual accounts and internal controls at PwC while serving as a client contact and supporting colleagues. The role combines four working days with one day of Post-Master lectures across Dutch offices.

Description

  • Join audit teams of two to ten professionals.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned clients.
  • Manage the planning and completion stages of audits of client annual financial statements.
  • Evaluate clients’ internal control procedures.
  • Support junior colleagues through coaching and work review.
  • Work with the team to approve clients’ annual accounts.
  • Work four days each week and attend Post-Master lectures for one day.
  • Split your time between client locations and the office, with hybrid working where feasible.

Requirements

  • A degree from a research university or university of applied sciences.
  • At least two years of audit experience in areas including Consumer Industrial Products & Services, Public Sector, Private Companies, or Energy, Utilities and Mining.
  • Strong project planning and control capabilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional fluency in spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • A strong sense of integrity and personal accountability.
  • Interest in developments and innovation within the profession.
  • Ability to understand and respond to colleagues’ and stakeholders’ perspectives.
