Event Coordinator – Cologne (Hybrid)

Own events from concept through delivery for a strategic online marketing agency, including festivals, trade fairs, international events, and customer gatherings. Coordinate budgets, suppliers, schedules, merchandising, and on-site execution while creating memorable participant experiences.

Description

  • Own events from initial concept through on-site delivery, including implementation days, the GREATOR Festival, international events, trade fairs, and team gatherings.
  • Create agendas and negotiate with hotels and other service providers.
  • Evaluate competing offers to secure strong value for money.
  • Build purposeful, well-structured event concepts that deliver an excellent participant experience.
  • Lead event days confidently, including presenting to audiences by microphone when needed.
  • Coordinate merchandising orders and oversee quality control.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences beyond the events themselves.

Requirements

  • Experience managing events and a genuine enthusiasm for engaging people through thoughtfully designed formats.
  • A confident, professional presence when addressing groups or working under pressure.
  • Strong resilience, with the composure to handle last-minute changes.
  • Flexibility combined with a practical, solution-focused mindset.
  • An independent and organized working style, with strong aesthetic judgment and budget awareness.
  • Ideally located in the Cologne or Düsseldorf area for convenient access to events and the office.
  • Excellent organizational ability and a hands-on approach.
  • Marketing or sector-specific experience is not required.
