Description

  • Assess customer data center environments and infrastructure with account teams.
  • Design and propose infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business goals.
  • Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
  • Keep current on product information.
  • Train sales teams and customers on products and technical topics.
  • Advise customers on IT solutions alongside Field Account Executives.
  • Develop strategies for key prospects, manage the solutions pipeline, and pursue new business.
  • Identify opportunities across data center, cloud, networking, security, collaboration, and services.
  • Plan solutions that meet customer needs and budgets.
  • Work with CIOs, IT directors, CTOs, and other client contacts to manage accounts.
  • Develop sales teams’ skills in technical selling, product training, services, and technology trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with complex data center sales opportunities.
  • Ability to design data center infrastructure spanning hybrid cloud, hyperconverged systems, software-defined data centers, infrastructure and platform as a service, automation, containerization, and data center management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, hypervisors, server virtualization, software-defined data centers, containerization, and automation.
  • Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and explaining value.
  • Expertise in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability solutions.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.
  • Advanced certification in the listed mainstream technologies is preferred.
