Description
- Own and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap in line with business strategy
- Set architecture principles, standards, and governance practices
- Guide technology decisions across business units and platforms
- Align architecture decisions with ROI² objectives
- Define application landscapes, integration approaches, and modernization plans
- Lead migrations from monolithic systems to microservices and API-led architectures
- Promote scalable, modular, and reusable architecture
- Design and govern platform ecosystems spanning data, AI, and ESG capabilities
- Lead the shift from tools to platforms by enabling reusable services, shared capabilities, and developer productivity
- Support delivery of the Azure cloud strategy
- Optimize platforms for scalability, security, and FinOps cost control
- Architect cloud-native and hybrid technology environments
- Establish enterprise integration patterns using APIs, event-driven architecture, and middleware
- Lead data architecture for lakehouses and data platforms, including governance and lineage
- Promote a data-as-a-product operating model
- Establish and manage Architecture Review Board and design authority forums
- Strengthen compliance, risk management, and architectural standardization
- Assess and support adoption of AI/GenAI platforms, data frameworks, ETL/data pipelines, integration platforms, and automation frameworks
- Enable responsible innovation through defined guardrails
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering leaders
- Advise senior executives, including the CTO, Head of Data & Innovation, Head of Infrastructure, and Chief Product Officer
Requirements
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, platform engineering, and Azure cloud infrastructure
- Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Model Driven Engineering
- Experience with metadata and cataloging
- Azure expertise required, with AWS and GCP experience
- Knowledge of data lakehouses, data platforms, ETL/ELT, and data governance
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and middleware
- Experience with CI/CD and automation pipelines
- Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance models
- Ability to convert business strategy into architecture
- Strong judgment in technology decisions and trade-off analysis
- Experience operating in complex, global enterprise environments
- Demonstrated success scaling platforms and technology ecosystems
- 12–18+ years of experience in technology roles
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture
- Experience with digital transformation, platform-based product development, and large-scale system integration
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Preferred certifications include TOGAF, Azure Solution Architect Expert, and AWS or GCP cloud certifications
