Emerson Engineer I – Technical Support, Quote and Order Management (Hybrid)
Provide technical support while managing proposals, quotes, and orders for Emerson automation technology customers. Support sales offices and partners across the Middle East and Africa.
Description
- Respond promptly to general customer inquiries and oversee order fulfillment
- Address technical questions about products and processes
- Develop customer proposals by assessing technical and commercial requirements
- Validate and create model numbers, including buy-out handling
- Oversee pricing, lead times, sizing, and configuration activities
- Work with internal teams on escalations and technical clarifications
- Process order bookings by reviewing requirements and data sheets
- Investigate order issues and escalate them to the appropriate internal teams
- Support MEA sales offices, local business partners, and business administrators with technical matters
- Enter orders into the system and provide customers with product specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or a related field
- Strong English communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to work under a 12-month fixed-term employment arrangement
