EDI Technical Analyst – Healthcare Claims (Phoenix Hybrid)

Support healthcare claims EDI transactions, integrations, and QNXT payer systems in a Phoenix hybrid role. Troubleshoot production data exchanges using SQL, mapping, testing, and HIPAA-compliant processes.

Description

  • Resolve production EDI issues involving healthcare claims and trading partner transactions
  • Provide coverage through scheduled on-call rotations
  • Analyze, map, and validate healthcare exchanges involving 270/271, 834, 835, and 837 transactions
  • Create and maintain SQL queries for production support, reporting, testing, and data validation
  • Monitor and validate system performance with Splunk, App Insights, SOAP UI, and Postman
  • Plan and execute tests, process test files, record results, and address defects
  • Prepare technical specifications, mapping documentation, and process flows
  • Support API integrations, ETL workflows, and enterprise data exchange programs
  • Build dashboards for tracking data quality
  • Follow HIPAA requirements and healthcare EDI standards, including TR3, CAQH CORE, and Blue Exchange guidelines
  • Work with business and technical teams to resolve production issues and maintain reliable trading partner data exchange

Requirements

  • Currently live in Arizona and able to commute to the Phoenix office at 85021 at least one day each week
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card required
  • No current or future sponsorship is available
  • At least 3 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
  • At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, data management and integration, data extraction, and reporting
  • At least 2 years of healthcare EDI experience
  • Practical experience with 270/271, 834, 835, and 837 EDI transactions
  • Recent hands-on QNXT experience in a healthcare payer environment is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server experience, including queries for production support, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting
  • Experience with data mapping, flat-file analysis, EDI file testing, and production support
  • QNXT and Microsoft SQL Server experience required
  • Able to quickly diagnose and resolve complex data and integration problems
  • Able to work with large datasets and convert complex business requirements into technical solutions
  • Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders
