District Operations Manager - Meridian, Idaho
Lead operational consistency across Core & Main’s regional infrastructure distribution branches in an onsite role based in Meridian, Idaho. Oversee inventory accuracy, SOP compliance, audits, safety, training, and operational improvement.
Description
- Lead inventory integrity investigations and ensure follow-through
- Maintain SOP compliance across warehouse, receiving, and branch operations
- Oversee cycle counts, returns, receiving discipline, and operational accuracy
- Plan, conduct, evaluate, and follow up on branch audits with corrective action plans
- Maintain D365 process compliance and resolve operational workflow issues
- Improve warehouse flow, safety practices, and operating efficiency
- Coordinate readiness and field execution for corporate and regional initiatives
- Manage and communicate regional operational scorecards
- Partner with District Managers on the operational aspects of sales enablement
- Coach Branch Managers in operational excellence
- Support training initiatives with the Regional Director and corporate operations teams
- Conduct scheduled branch visits, operational reviews, audits, SOP refreshers, training, and development sessions
- Report to the Regional Director while partnering with District Managers and Branch Managers
- Apply operational standards consistently throughout the region
Requirements
- Substantial branch operations experience spanning warehouse, receiving, inventory, and audits
- A proven record of maintaining SOP compliance and operational consistency
- Previous leadership experience in operations-focused environments preferred
- Experience with D365 or a comparable ERP system is advantageous
- Experience using Mincron and D365
- A highly disciplined approach with strong respect for established processes
- Sound situational judgment and strong pattern-recognition skills
- Ability to coach colleagues and hold them accountable
- Strong teaching and instructional skills
