DevOps Engineer at BlueCat - Belgrade Hybrid

Support CI/CD, testing, and infrastructure automation for BlueCat’s enterprise network operations platform. Strengthen Jenkins reliability across cloud, virtualized, and hardware environments.

Description

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and test infrastructure for enterprise software
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries
  • Help transition GitLab pipelines to Jenkins
  • Build, package, and test Python and Java applications as Docker images through Gradle and Make-based workflows
  • Maintain Terraform and Ansible automation for cloud and on-premises test environments
  • Assist with provisioning across virtualization platforms and test infrastructure
  • Support system, upgrade, and performance-test automation, including scheduling and environment allocation
  • Operate and optimize security and static-analysis scanning pipelines
  • Track pipeline and test health, reporting relevant trends
  • Increase pipeline speed and reliability while improving failure diagnosis
  • Grow toward ownership of a pipeline area, delivering infrastructure enhancements and becoming a trusted CI/CD reliability owner

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or build and infrastructure engineering
  • Practical CI/CD experience, preferably with Jenkins
  • Practical Docker experience, including image creation and containerized workloads
  • Experience developing in Java or Python and building, packaging, and testing applications
  • Linux administration and Bash scripting experience
  • Working knowledge of Git and GitLab workflows, including GitLab runners
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud or virtualization platform: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or VMware
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • A dependable approach with clear ownership of deliverables
  • An automation-first approach to engineering work
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for continued learning
  • Clear written communication skills, including the ability to create runbooks
