Join PwC’s Deals Strategy team as an intern supporting mergers and acquisitions, business-plan assessment, and value creation initiatives. Build exposure to diligence, transaction execution, post-deal processes, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

Description

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives supporting mergers and acquisitions
  • Evaluate business plans for feasibility and prospects for success
  • Help develop acquisition strategies that address program risks and objectives
  • Research markets and gather information for deal strategy and value creation work
  • Review financial statements and trends to inform business decisions
  • Examine competitive advantages and relevant market developments
  • Work with colleagues to define transaction structures and business terms
  • Learn PwC practices and methodologies from experienced professionals
  • Build transaction-lifecycle exposure spanning deal strategy, diligence, execution, and post-deal value creation
  • Use AI to improve efficiency, develop innovative workflows, and support differentiated outcomes
  • Strengthen financial modeling and analysis capabilities for strategic planning

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or having completed a bachelor's degree
  • Client service internships are entry-level roles typically suited to candidates in the third year of a four-year degree or the fourth year of a five-year degree
  • Preferred fields of study include analytics, banking and finance, biomedical engineering, business administration, business analytics, computer and information science, economics and finance and technology, engineering, engineering and business, finance, industrial and operations engineering, industrial engineering, information technology, international business, business analysis and management, and finance and management
  • Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.3
  • Preferred major GPA of 3.3
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%
