Data Specialist Analyst – BBVA (Hybrid, Pachuca de Soto)
BBVA is seeking a Data Specialist Analyst in Pachuca de Soto to extract, structure, and analyze operational data. The role uses SQL, Python, and ADA to build dashboards, executive reports, and actionable insights.
Description
- Extract, process, and structure data from branches, contact centers, and digital collections operations.
- Compile and deliver daily reporting by 12:00 p.m.
- Ensure timely data availability for operational monitoring and month-end close activities.
- Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and operational performance indicators.
- Develop visual analyses and executive reports for leadership committees and board meetings.
- Manage and execute data extraction and query processes through BBVA’s ADA corporate infrastructure.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree or engineering degree.
- Academic background in computer systems, software engineering, finance and economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Mandatory SQL expertise, including substantial hands-on experience extracting and structuring databases.
- Python proficiency is strongly preferred for data mining, efficient processing, and automation.
- Experience managing and querying data on the ADA analytics platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present findings clearly in board meetings and leadership committees.
- Strong analytical ability to turn large datasets into strategic, actionable indicators.
- Highly disciplined time management skills for meeting critical deliverables and established daily deadlines.
