Description

  • Support business decisions with data, develop solutions aligned with business challenges, and analyze member and client behaviour
  • Guide internal and external stakeholders through model development initiatives and complex strategic work in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence
  • Extract insights from diverse data sources to address highly complex operational and conceptual business challenges
  • Advise stakeholders as a data-use subject matter expert while coaching decision-making groups
  • Direct data mining, assessment, feature engineering, quality review, data refinement, and predictor selection for complex predictive-modeling assignments
  • Assess client and partner needs, formulate hypotheses, lead analytical mandates, and coordinate implementation and deployment
  • Use advanced statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to build and refine models and segmentations
  • Develop programs for data preparation and mining, and support the evaluation, deployment, maintenance, and management of complex models
  • Produce presentations and data visualizations that inform business decisions and communicate findings to management
  • Establish data-modeling guidance and methods, maintain supporting documentation, and develop and deliver training
  • Find opportunities to improve rules, systems, and data-management tools while anticipating the effects of proposed changes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to clarify issues, communicate findings, and shape decisions

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • At least six years of relevant professional experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
  • Academic training in a quantitative discipline, such as a certificate, master's degree, or PhD
  • French proficiency is required for positions based in Quebec
  • Advanced English proficiency is required because of the role's duties, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and clients
  • Demonstrated action orientation, ability to manage complexity, customer focus, adaptability to differences, innovation, interpersonal skill, and nimble learning
