Data Registry Coordinator - Remote in Ohio or Florida

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a remote Data Registry Coordinator to collect, validate, and submit clinical registry data. The role supports clinical teams, reporting, and healthcare performance improvement initiatives in Ohio or Florida.

Description

  • Gather, verify, and submit accurate information to clinical registries
  • Spot areas where registry processes and outcomes could be improved
  • Advise clinical teams and committees across multiple hospitals on program requirements, registry standards, and applicable guidelines
  • Identify eligible patients for clinical registries using defined criteria and protocols
  • Compile and verify program data against registry definitions and requirements
  • Create and manage consistent processes for collecting registry information
  • Enter complete and accurate data through program websites while meeting established deadlines and targets
  • Review reports and datasets to uncover opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with clinical departments and units on performance improvement work
  • Complete additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, healthcare, or a related discipline plus three years of clinical, research, or registry experience
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or certification from an allied healthcare program plus five years of experience
  • Associate degree in science, healthcare, or a related discipline plus five years of experience
  • Working knowledge of medical-record documentation and mainframe patient-information systems
  • Residence in Ohio or Florida
  • Capacity to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and standard office equipment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds where required by the work location
  • Ability to follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
  • Willingness to complete post-offer controlled-substance testing
  • Participation in the annual influenza prevention program or receipt of an approved exemption
