Description

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and recommend appropriate data and analytics solutions
  • Develop advanced analytics solutions that deepen understanding of customers, processes, channels, and products
  • Translate business questions, problems, and opportunities into clearly defined advanced analytics work
  • Create simple, efficient, and automated processes wherever practical
  • Contribute in an Agile environment alongside multidisciplinary data and analytics teams
  • Coordinate team and business resources to deliver project and scrum outcomes
  • Provide data and analytics expertise that generates commercial and customer value
  • Explain analytics opportunities clearly and engagingly to stakeholders
  • Help stakeholders choose the most effective approach for their business needs
  • Apply emerging tools, technologies, and methods in advanced analytics
  • Keep stakeholders informed by linking analytics, data science, and data engineering activity to business priorities
  • Create meaningful visualisations that make advanced analytics accessible to key stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least four years of experience in data and analytics
  • Understanding of data architecture, core tooling, and relevant programming languages
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced analytics
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear visualisations and persuasive insights using suitable systems and tools
  • Sound knowledge of financial services
  • Ability to assess broader business impacts, risks, and opportunities
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Clear understanding of domain data assets and their dependencies across data functions
  • Strong SQL skills, preferably with Snowflake or AWS
  • Advanced knowledge of visualisation tools including QuickSuite, Tableau, and Power BI
  • Experience with change-management and version-control platforms such as GitLab and GitHub
  • Strong understanding of data management principles
  • Experience presenting data and insights to key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data engineering, data science, and decisioning disciplines
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and knowledge of Python are useful but not required
