Data Analyst, Healthcare Reporting

Manage reporting, SQL, data warehouses, and analytics solutions for WebTPA, a healthcare benefits administrator. Support client reporting and strategic healthcare plan initiatives.

Description

  • Produce accurate, timely reports for internal and external clients using technology.
  • Resolve day-to-day reporting and analytics issues while supporting long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Identify weaknesses and opportunities in reporting processes, then lead effective improvements.
  • Design, develop, and refine proprietary software for reporting and analytics teams.
  • Help develop data warehouses and data marts.
  • Build reporting processes for internal and external clients.
  • Apply creative approaches to business challenges and long-term initiatives.
  • Create data exports and provide expert support for external vendor initiatives.
  • Create ad hoc data imports and provide expert support for other initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience in an analytical, data-driven role.
  • A related bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or MIS, or equivalent additional related work experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data warehousing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Comfort communicating directly with vendors and clients.
  • Comfort drawing on multiple data sources to develop solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Ability to translate business needs into solutions using data and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to assess issues and propose workable solutions.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Only local candidates will be considered; relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Healthcare claims data, terminology, and operations experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Microsoft Access form development, VBA, or Crystal Reports is a plus.
