Data Analyst, Data & AI Domain — Santander

Manage Santander’s data portfolio, quality controls, dashboards, and delivery across the Data & AI Domain. Support data-led transformation through a hybrid role based in Milton Keynes, Bradford, or Glasgow.

Description

  • Manage and validate delivery of the CDAIO Book of Work
  • Work with Engineering teams to establish technical requirements and confirm delivery against OKRs
  • Define data-asset requirements in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and business goals
  • Work with stakeholders to clarify data needs and develop suitable data solutions
  • Support the timely delivery of data assets in line with the agreed architecture
  • Rank work according to the value of the relevant use cases
  • Document data assets for end users
  • Maintain the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of data
  • Locate, map, and assess golden-source data
  • Introduce data-quality monitoring and controlled processes for updates
  • Take ownership of the Domain portfolio’s integrity and daily administration
  • Keep initiative records up to date, including owners, milestones, status, dependencies, risks, decisions, capacity, costs, and benefits
  • Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and automated portfolio-review reporting packs
  • Produce capacity-and-demand analyses, resource scenarios, pipeline assessments, and trend reports

Requirements

  • Understand the methods, tools, and techniques used for effective data management and data-management risk identification
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and strong stakeholder-management capability
  • Understand project-management approaches for planning, organising, monitoring, and controlling projects
  • Hold a relevant degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent professional experience
  • English-language proficiency
  • Have working knowledge of Planview and Power BI or comparable tools
  • Apply strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Follow up proactively and work confidently with accountable owners
  • Turn data into concise, actionable insight
  • Work collaboratively and in an organised way, with a commitment to continuous improvement
