Lead copy-led creative campaigns for American Express across digital, social, video, web, and print. Mentor creatives and present campaign work to marketing stakeholders and partners.

Description

  • Lead and motivate the agency team while communicating its vision and values
  • Coach creative team members through clear guidance and constructive feedback
  • Turn concepts into compelling work across evolving communication channels
  • Deliver polished creative work to high standards of craft
  • Develop concepts from strategic briefs that align with the Amex brand
  • Create work for online video, websites, banners, social platforms, print, and additional channels
  • Present creative work to internal stakeholders and marketing partners
  • Propose proactive ideas that address challenges and support business growth
  • Build integrated, high-impact campaigns from initial concept through completion
  • Spot emerging opportunities and relevant future trends
  • Report to the Group Creative Director

Requirements

  • At least seven years of concepting and copywriting experience in a creative agency environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop campaign copy for a range of media
  • Ability to interpret marketing insights and strategies and turn them into compelling digital-first advertising campaigns
  • Ability to pair conceptual creative thinking with high-quality content delivery
  • Strong, engaging presentation skills
  • Passion for social platforms, trends, technology, and industry best practices
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A maker mindset with curiosity and openness to testing new methods
  • Strong conceptual ability
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for discovering new creative opportunities
  • Experience managing or supervising creative talent
  • Eligibility to work for American Express in the United States is required
  • Visa sponsorship is not provided
  • Industry-recognized work is preferred
