Contract Data Engineer – Birmingham Hybrid
Build data pipelines with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Azure Databricks as part of AND Digital’s Birmingham contractor network. Work with organisations to tackle complex technology challenges.
Description
- Create data pipelines for decision-making, insight, and advanced data science.
- Apply data quality, data flow, and information organisation practices in hands-on data work.
- Help clients address complex technology challenges and build lasting capability.
- Work with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Register interest in joining the Birmingham contractor network.
Requirements
- Experienced data engineer.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and Azure Databricks.
- Understanding of how AI uses data.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with related cloud services, such as DynamoDB, Redshift, Kinesis Pipelines, Glue, Lambda, or QuickSight.
- Experience with DataOps principles.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work with practical value.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and solve complex problems collaboratively.
