Description

  • Capture and document business needs, stakeholder expectations, processes, and pain points using interviews, workshops, analysis, and observation.
  • Turn product direction and priorities into features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Keep requirements complete, unambiguous, testable, and connected to business objectives.
  • Map and document both current-state and target-state business processes.
  • Record scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and measures of success.
  • Contribute to MVP scoping and backlog refinement.
  • Convert complex business challenges into specific, actionable work items.
  • Perform root cause analysis while identifying risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Apply data to validate business needs, requirements, and delivered results.
  • Define KPIs, metrics, reporting needs, business rules, and calculation logic.
  • Provide requirements for reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts and Engineers to align reporting and metrics with agreed definitions.
  • Work with engineering teams through refinement, development, testing, and release.
  • Contribute to quarterly planning and day-to-day delivery activities.
  • Connect business stakeholders with technical teams.
  • Lead workshops and build shared understanding of requirements, scope, and impact.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable role.
  • Substantial experience in business analysis and requirements management.
  • Experience collecting, documenting, and managing requirements in agile environments.
  • Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience mapping business processes and documenting current and future states.
  • Experience planning and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, reporting, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Experience defining metrics, business rules, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience participating in backlog refinement.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Strong documentation and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or comparable tools.
  • A structured, detail-focused approach to work.
  • Experience in Data & Analytics environments is desirable.
  • Experience working with software engineering, data engineering, Machine Learning, or Data Science teams is desirable.
  • Experience in digital product development is desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with software vendors or implementation partners is desirable.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, tools, and AI-enabled ways of working is desirable.
