Compliance Operations Expert – Latin America (Remote)

Bybit is seeking a compliance operations expert to develop global fiat, crypto, and stablecoin payment solutions. The role supports licensing, regulatory strategy, and cross-border settlement across LATAM, the EU, and MENA.

Description

  • Design and implement compliance frameworks for global fiat on-ramp and off-ramp payment solutions
  • Develop scalable compliance models that connect traditional payment infrastructure with crypto and stablecoin settlement
  • Create compliance frameworks for fiat payment products that meet EU, LATAM, and MENA regulatory requirements
  • Design payment and settlement models that integrate stablecoins with traditional financial systems
  • Maintain policies, operating models, SOPs, and risk assessment frameworks for product launches and ongoing operations
  • Coordinate applications for EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, MiCAR, and equivalent licenses
  • Prepare operational, compliance, and product documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Partner with legal and compliance counsel to ensure filings meet jurisdiction-specific standards
  • Engage regulators and external legal advisors on cross-border settlement and stablecoin integration
  • Advise product, engineering, and operations teams on the compliance impact of new features
  • Develop partnerships with banks, PSPs, stablecoin issuers, and payment networks
  • Create secure, auditable fund-flow designs covering KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and reporting
  • Design cross-border settlement solutions, including hybrid crypto-fiat payment systems
  • Develop regional compliance solutions for EU, LATAM, and MENA regulatory, banking, and foreign-exchange environments
  • Create global policy templates and partner onboarding guidance to support consistent compliance execution

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of professional experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory operations across payments, fintech, or crypto
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling compliance frameworks for global payment solutions or financial institutions
  • Experience working with regulators and supporting multi-jurisdictional license applications, including EMI, PSP, SVF, CASP, or MiCAR
  • Strong knowledge of fiat payment infrastructure, including card settlement, bank transfers, and e-money frameworks
  • Understanding of crypto compliance frameworks covering VASPs, stablecoins, and blockchain-based financial products
  • Practical experience designing payment fund flows, operating policies, and internal control systems
  • Thorough knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring, and risk reporting obligations
  • Professional experience in at least one of the EU, LATAM, or MENA regions
  • Familiarity with MiCAR, PSD2, or MiFID requirements relevant to EU operations
  • Understanding of LATAM payment ecosystems such as PIX and SPEI, along with regional crypto compliance practices
  • Awareness of MENA PSP and SVF frameworks and regional approaches to stablecoin regulation
  • Ability to apply rigorous compliance standards while enabling business agility
  • Ability to work effectively with product, legal, engineering, and business development teams
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex regulatory concepts clearly
  • High integrity, strong analytical ability, and a global perspective on compliance innovation
