Description
- Create, enhance, and support scalable backend APIs with Python and Node.js
- Implement integrations that export translated content through XLIFF and apply it across platforms
- Investigate and fix edge cases involving content models, identifiers, and service integrations
- Build structured content transformation capabilities spanning multiple services
- Partner with product managers, frontend engineers, and other cross-functional colleagues
- Deliver reliable, maintainable, thoroughly tested code aligned with backend engineering standards
Requirements
- At least five years of professional backend software development experience
- Advanced practical experience with Python and Node.js
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of API integrations and backend service architecture
- Background in structured content, document transformation, or data processing
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- XLIFF and localization workflow experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with the Okapi Framework is advantageous
- Experience with XML or comparable structured markup formats is advantageous
- Exposure to content management or localization platforms is advantageous
- Relevant backend development or localization technology certifications are advantageous
- Required skills include Node.js, Python, XML, API design, XLIFF, Okapi, and Terraform
- Applicants must be based in the Philippines
