Cloud Migration Services Intern – DXC Technology (Hybrid Malaysia)
Support cloud and infrastructure operations across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, with hands-on exposure to virtualization, security, automation, and incident management at DXC Technology.
Description
- Provision and monitor cloud resources across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Help manage cloud environments spanning compute, networking, and storage.
- Contribute to access reviews and policy-compliance activities.
- Assist with Windows and Linux server maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Support virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Track system performance and compile operational reports.
- Maintain incident records and technical documentation.
- Help automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, or command-line tools.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Currently in the final year of study.
- Must be a Malaysian citizen.
- Have a foundational understanding of cloud computing, Windows and Linux operating systems, and TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall networking concepts.
- Experience with at least one of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and with virtualization is advantageous.
- Basic scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, plus familiarity with IT service management or monitoring tools, is beneficial.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively while showing initiative and eagerness to learn.
- Work carefully and maintain strong organisational habits.
- Available to begin from November 2026 onward.
- Available for a four- to six-month internship.
- Available to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux, networking, cloud platforms, virtualization, scripting, ITSM, and monitoring tools is expected.
