Description

  • Build clinical SAS datasets from raw data
  • Develop status and efficacy datasets
  • Create project-specific SAS macros and formats
  • Import client data from external platforms
  • Prepare finalized data for client delivery
  • Produce listings and custom reports based on client requirements
  • Generate reports with SAS procedures including PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE, and PROC SQL
  • Develop programs with Base SAS, SAS procedures, and standardized macros
  • Manage missing values, raw files, data structures, programming errors, and SAS data workflows

Requirements

  • Two to ten years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • At least two years of applications programming experience
  • Understanding of clinical domains and clinical development phases
  • Professional experience in clinical research, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals
  • Hands-on experience with Clinical SAS Programming
  • Experience programming data imports with SAS
  • Working knowledge of SAS Output Delivery System (ODS) for RTF, PDF, and HTML reports
  • Ability to manage missing values, read raw data files, and build data structures
  • Knowledge of diagnosing programming errors and managing SAS data
  • Knowledge of appending and concatenating SAS datasets
  • Knowledge of PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE, and PROC SQL
  • Proficiency with SAS Macros and SQL
  • Knowledge of Vendor Import programming
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAS programming
  • Knowledge of SAS/Base, SAS/Advanced SAS, SAS/Macros, SAS/SQL, and SAS/SAS Grid
  • Strong communication skills
