Description
- Build and sustain relationships with commercial insurance clients
- Evaluate policies to confirm suitable coverage and regulatory compliance
- Manage account changes, renewals, and insurance endorsements
- Assess client risks and recommend risk management measures
- Work with underwriters and carriers to arrange policy placement
- Respond to client questions and resolve coverage concerns
- Track compliance with DOT regulations and insurance obligations
- Create certificates, policy summaries, and other insurance records
- Support strategies that strengthen client retention
- Keep client information and account documentation current in the CRM
Requirements
- Hold an active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Bring 3–5 years of commercial insurance experience focused on trucking or transportation
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of commercial trucking insurance products and coverage
- Understand DOT regulations and transportation compliance obligations
- Be skilled in insurance policy administration and risk evaluation
- Have experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Deliver strong account management and client service
- Apply sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work with strong attention to detail and organization
- Communicate effectively in writing and conversation
- Understand risk management practices within the transportation industry
