Lead site development design and project delivery for Parkhill in El Paso, Texas. Manage engineers, clients, municipal coordination, and projects involving roadway, drainage, utilities, and subdivisions.

Description

  • Lead and supervise engineers and technicians
  • Provide technical oversight and design for pavement, utilities, grading, site features, and drainage
  • Build and manage client relationships, financial tracking, and responsive service
  • Apply local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other applicable design criteria
  • Coordinate surveying services provided by internal and external teams
  • Engage actively with civic, technical, and professional organizations
  • Prepare proposals, scopes, fees, and performance reports
  • Build and sustain relationships with City departments
  • Present projects at hearings, Commission meetings, and City Council sessions
  • Design sites for office, retail, industrial, and institutional developments
  • Support residential subdivision projects from land acquisition through finished lots
  • Contribute to municipal roadway, drainage, and planning projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer registration in Texas
  • At least six years of experience covering the listed responsibilities
  • Experience producing and managing plans
  • Experience securing entitlements, including platting, zoning, and municipal permitting
  • Experience with site planning and development master planning
  • Experience designing grading and drainage systems
  • Experience designing streets and alleys
  • Experience with site design
  • Experience designing water and wastewater systems
  • Experience conducting and designing hydrology and hydraulics analyses
  • Experience in general civil design
  • Experience managing construction
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS
  • Experience with SWP3s
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to attend City Council and client meetings as needed
