Cash Collections Specialist (Hybrid, Barcelona)

Description

  • Own the accounts receivable portfolio and pursue payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Contact clients by email and phone to negotiate and secure settlement of overdue balances.
  • Review account aging and prioritize collection activity based on risk and value.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales to investigate and resolve billing disputes.
  • Recommend and establish payment plans when appropriate.
  • Provide Finance Management with collection metrics, including DSO, delinquency rates, and aging data.
  • Maintain accurate and current ERP and accounting records.
  • Escalate high-risk accounts in line with internal credit policies.

Requirements

  • Bring 2–4 years of experience in cash collections, credit control, or accounts receivable.
  • Have experience in B2B or SaaS settings; iGaming or fintech/payments experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Bring ERP experience; familiarity with NetSuite or SAP is valued.
  • Use confident, professional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Have advanced English proficiency.
  • Catalan or Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Work independently with a results-focused and analytical approach.
