Description

  • Create, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Work with business stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs and convert them into technical solutions
  • Build and maintain data models, transform data, and optimize queries for efficient performance
  • Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, Excel workbooks, and cloud data services
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and suitable access controls across dashboards and reports
  • Track and improve report performance, usability, and reliability
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to speed Power BI development, including advanced DAX, data modeling, and reporting work
  • Create documentation, offer guidance, and train end users on business intelligence tools
  • Refine reporting solutions in response to user feedback and changing business requirements
  • Contribute to analytics programs by helping define standards for visualization, reporting, and data governance

Requirements

  • At least four years of experience developing business intelligence or analytics solutions with Power BI or comparable BI platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related discipline
  • Advanced Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve Power BI development productivity
  • Ability to assess AI-generated solutions and verify their accuracy, performance, and compliance with Power BI best practices
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, data pipelines, and ETL processes
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
