Description

  • Use data from multiple sources to produce reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
  • Track operational metrics, assess trends, and recommend process and efficiency improvements
  • Build, maintain, and refine Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver reporting solutions
  • Evaluate business processes, operational performance, and key metrics in support of strategic initiatives
  • Help maintain automated reporting and data workflows that improve consistency, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to business partners and department leaders
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify ways to improve business outcomes and processes
  • Contribute to data governance and stewardship, including the definition and maintenance of KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards
  • Collaborate across teams on reporting, analytics, and data transformation projects
  • Conduct quality checks and validation to verify the accuracy of reports, dashboards, and analyses
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, business rules, and analytical methods
  • Keep current with analytics tools, reporting technologies, and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
  • At least two years of experience analyzing and interpreting data and presenting insights to business stakeholders
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis methods
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating information from multiple sources
  • Ability to communicate analytical conclusions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • SQL experience for querying, transforming, and analyzing data is preferred
  • Experience with Python, R, or comparable analytical tools is preferred
  • Experience supporting operational, financial, customer service, underwriting, or claims analytics is preferred
  • Experience developing automated reporting solutions and improving reporting workflows is preferred
  • Familiarity with data governance, KPI development, and performance measurement frameworks is preferred
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional analytics projects that improve business results is preferred
  • Experience in life insurance, financial services, or the broader insurance industry is preferred
