Business Analyst | YASH Technologies | Hyderabad On-Site
Support YASH Technologies’ business transformation projects through requirements analysis, scope management, testing, and documentation. Coordinate with customers, developers, stakeholders, and support teams across concurrent engagements.
Description
- Manage several discrete projects at the same time
- Collect business requirements through phone and email communication
- Analyze business requirements and draw out underlying needs
- Map current and future business states to their related system requirements
- Control project scope, limit scope expansion, and confirm agreed deliverables are completed
- Prepare business analyst estimates and align them with developer estimates
- Monitor project metrics and communicate performance updates
- Develop requirements matrices and business process flows for development teams
- Clarify enhancement requests and development requirements with software developers
- Design test scenarios around requirements and changes between business states
- Perform integration, system, and regression testing
- Document issues and monitor defect resolution
- Prepare supporting project documentation
- Contribute to engagement-level training and documentation activities
- Coordinate with support teams during production release and the transition to ongoing support
Requirements
- At least four years of full-time professional experience
- EDI knowledge is preferred
- Strong working ability with Microsoft Excel
- Background in business analysis, requirements elicitation and analysis, requirements management, scope control, and stakeholder management
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Self-directed, proactive approach to work
- Experience serving US or UK customers and engaging constructively with them
- Familiarity with multiple business domains and different file and data formats
- Experience writing business and functional requirements specifications
- Experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver project requirements
- Availability to work during EU or UK hours
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate directly with customers’ end users
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills
- Logistics industry experience is advantageous
- Familiarity with EDI X12 standards and EDI, flat-file, and XML formats is advantageous
