Business Analyst I – Healthcare Data (Remote, U.S.)
Analyze healthcare data, business requirements, and processes for Centene while supporting system testing and solution implementation to improve access to care.
Description
- Analyze and interpret information to connect business needs with objectives for the assigned function
- Support business initiatives through data analysis
- Identify barriers that may affect implementation
- Conduct user acceptance testing for new systems
- Assess user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
- Complete detailed analysis for assigned projects
- Recommend business solutions and support their implementation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Follow applicable policies and standards
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
- SQL editing and query manipulation are strongly preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP, are highly preferred
- Claims experience is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 0–2 years of business process analysis or data analysis experience
- Project management experience is preferred
- Ability to comply with all applicable policies and standards
