Business Analyst, Group Reporting and IFRS 17 (Vienna Hybrid)

Improve IFRS 17 group reporting, financial data quality, and reporting efficiency at UNIQA Insurance Group. Coordinate finance, actuarial, accounting, IT, and transformation stakeholders across the organization.

Description

  • Support and enhance group-wide closing and reporting processes
  • Develop capabilities that strengthen data quality, analytics, and closing efficiency
  • Coordinate financial data integration and handle escalations for Group companies
  • Investigate and resolve complex IFRS 17 methodology, data quality, system logic, and reporting issues
  • Maintain stable reporting operations while contributing to continuous improvement
  • Work with central data integration and subledger platforms
  • Advance process optimization through automation, standardization, and functional enhancements
  • Partner with actuaries, accountants, IT teams, and transformation initiatives
  • Act as a key financial data-quality contact within Group Finance

Requirements

  • A completed degree or equivalent qualification in finance, business informatics, economics, or a related discipline
  • Professional experience in financial services or insurance
  • Strong IFRS 17 knowledge is advantageous
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, modern finance and data platforms
  • Knowledge of SAP, SQL, Microsoft Office, or Power BI is advantageous
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration in an international, multi-stakeholder setting
  • A dependable, accountable approach to work
  • Confidence working under time pressure
  • An organized and self-directed working style
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Very good written and spoken English
  • German language skills are advantageous but not required
