Backend Engineer Consultant - Mexico Remote

Build Go gateway services and provider adapters for Inflect’s digital infrastructure marketplace. Develop API integrations and self-service onboarding automation for network, bare-metal/GPU, and data providers.

Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Go backend services and provider adapters for network, bare-metal/GPU, and data suppliers
  • Implement live pricing and availability integrations
  • Help develop schema-mapping frameworks, GUI tools, validation safeguards, and LLM-assisted integration systems
  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned adapter surfaces within pod engineering standards
  • Deliver thoroughly tested, highly observable services while maintaining existing adapter logic
  • Work asynchronously with Design, QA, and Data Foundation teams across distributed functions
  • Provide dependable gateway integrations with overlap during US business hours
  • Review code and assess pull requests
  • Maintain technical documentation and support engineering quality across the pod
  • Independently release production provider integrations and adapters
  • Onboard at least one new supply-provider group into the marketplace
  • Decrease manual engineering effort per provider through self-service onboarding frameworks and tools
  • Own, test, and maintain a complete gateway slice from end to end

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience developing backend systems
  • Production experience with Go, or strong proficiency in an adjacent language and the ability to ramp up quickly
  • Experience with REST APIs, Postgres, Redis, and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience creating provider adapters, schema-mapping tools, validation safeguards, and message-queue or event-driven systems
  • Familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript backend tooling
  • Familiarity with LLM or agent integration frameworks and GUI tools for self-service adapter automation
  • Fluent professional English communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate asynchronously across Brazil, Poland, and US time zones
  • Mexican tax registration under an applicable business regime, such as RESICO or Persona Física con Actividad Empresarial
  • Ability to issue valid electronic invoices (CFDI) and upload them to Rippling for monthly payment
