Backend and full-stack developer building tactical communication solutions for defense and special police forces. Develop services with Rust, Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

Description

  • Design and develop backend services with Rust, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Model, query, and evolve product data in PostgreSQL
  • Help design APIs and workflows connecting services
  • Produce clear, tested, secure, and maintainable code
  • Take features from initial design through production deployment
  • Participate in architectural decisions and code reviews
  • Work with DevOps on deployment, observability, security, and reliability
  • Keep the codebase healthy as the product develops
  • Build robust, dependable, well-structured backend solutions
  • Shape the product foundation, technical decisions, development practices, and code quality

Requirements

  • Approximately 5–10 years of relevant backend development experience
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Substantial experience in backend development
  • Proficiency with TypeScript or Node.js
  • Interest in or experience with Rust
  • Comfort working with PostgreSQL and relational databases
  • Strong dedication to testing and code quality
  • Self-directed and collaborative, with the ability to explain technical decisions
  • Fluency in French and English
