Atlassian Consultant – Banking Cloud Migration
Lead compliant Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management cloud migrations for German banks and financial institutions. Design secure Atlassian platforms and regulatory documentation from initial strategy through go-live.
Description
- Lead banks and financial institutions from Atlassian platform strategy through cloud go-live
- Assess existing Atlassian environments and define target architectures, governance, access controls, and migration roadmaps
- Plan migrations around information security, outsourcing oversight, compliance, and data protection obligations
- Manage risk assessments, exit strategies, DORA information registers, audit rights, and subservice-provider requirements
- Implement EU data residency, Atlassian Guard SSO and SCIM, audit logging, encryption controls, segregation of duties, and access recertification
- Perform cloud-readiness reviews, analyze and rationalize apps, and plan migration waves and cutovers
- Run JCMA and CCMA migrations during change freezes while applying the four-eyes principle
- Produce migration records, data-integrity evidence, and access-management concepts for audits and regulatory reviews
- Lead workshops with decision-makers and control functions, turning technical alternatives into decision documents
- Improve migration playbooks for customers operating in regulated industries
Requirements
- At least three years of Atlassian consulting or administration experience in an enterprise setting
- Proven experience delivering at least one complex Server or Data Center to Cloud migration
- Project experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
- Strong knowledge of DORA, MaRisk/BAIT, EBA outsourcing guidance, and GDPR
- Advanced knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
- Familiarity with Atlassian Cloud Enterprise and Atlassian Guard is preferred
- A hands-on approach and confidence configuring solutions independently
- Fluency in German and English
- Atlassian certifications, ISO 27001 or IT audit experience, ITIL/ITSM knowledge, and Groovy, Python, or REST scripting experience are advantageous
