Associate Software Engineer — Serbia (Remote)

Develop and support C# .NET applications used in pharmaceutical research and safety systems at Ergomed Group. Work with cross-functional teams on testing, troubleshooting, and improvements to production software.

Description

  • Help the Systems Engineering team build, test, and maintain internal applications and services
  • Work with project managers, business units, and Systems Engineering colleagues to deliver features and enhancements
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
  • Produce clean, maintainable, test-driven, well-documented code in line with team standards
  • Support testing, documentation, and demanding development activities that promote continuous improvement
  • Provide technical assistance for systems managed by the Systems Engineering function

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on full-stack development experience with C# .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with development environments including Visual Studio and VS Code
  • Familiarity with source control systems such as Git
  • Working knowledge of fundamental data structures and object-oriented programming principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal and prioritisation skills
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Motivation to stay current with advances in process and software engineering practices and technologies
  • One to two years of experience preferred
  • Practical experience with T-SQL and SQL Server
  • Understanding of or experience with cloud platforms including Azure or AWS
  • Exposure to development management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Knowledge of Scrum or Agile development approaches
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate
  • Knowledge of computerised system validation concepts
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Availability to work during CET/GMT business hours
