Associate Cybersecurity Operations Analyst (L1) – Buenos Aires Onsite

Monitor threats, investigate incidents, and support vulnerability assessments for PwC’s global client portfolio. Build practical cybersecurity expertise at PwC’s Buenos Aires Acceleration Center.

Description

  • Monitor security alerts across client environments to detect potential threats and anomalous activity
  • Investigate incidents by collecting evidence, documenting conclusions, and escalating issues according to severity and impact
  • Triage security tickets, verify reported symptoms, and direct cases through the appropriate response process
  • Analyze endpoint, network, and cloud logs to support investigations and vulnerability assessment work
  • Use cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and control requirements in day-to-day security operations
  • Assist with incident containment and recovery activities under the direction of senior team members
  • Maintain case records, progress updates, and remediation details in monitoring and ticketing systems
  • Support security monitoring procedures, regulatory response work, and privacy compliance across managed service engagements
  • Apply responsible information management principles, including information security and data protection
  • Follow established information security management practices accurately

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
  • A background in Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems is preferred
  • At least one certification related to enterprise cybersecurity governance or operations, such as CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent security credential
  • Exposure to cybersecurity operations through an internship, coursework, or project work
  • Knowledge of security monitoring, vulnerability assessment, or incident response concepts
  • Experience working in client-facing or managed services environments with shifting priorities
  • Ability to collect information, recognize patterns, and communicate conclusions clearly
