Description

  • Support the Senior Civil Lead Engineer and the Design & Engineering team
  • Provide design and technical support for Marshalls’ Civils & Drainage product ranges
  • Work mainly on structural products, bespoke water management products and the Redi-Rock retaining wall system
  • Prepare high-quality drawings and calculations
  • Provide engineering support
  • Follow Marshalls’ processes and standards, along with wider industry requirements

Requirements

  • Experience in a civil or structural design and technical setting, such as a consultancy, design-and-build contractor, or building products designer or manufacturer
  • Qualifications in civil engineering, structural engineering, or construction; a degree is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Eurocode 2 design (EN 1992 Part 1-1)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and structural engineering software; SCIA experience is desirable
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond to change
  • A track record of self-motivation and meeting project deadlines
