Assembly Cell Operator — Onsite, United States

Assemble and test electronic components, wiring, fixtures, and related products for Acuity’s industrial technology operations. The onsite role requires careful work, safe tool use, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality procedures.

Description

  • Build fixtures, install electronic components in assemblies and casings
  • Complete electrical wiring installations accurately
  • Test equipment and troubleshoot issues before initial or renewed service
  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products manually or with small tools
  • Operate hand tools and other manual equipment
  • Observe security requirements, safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards
  • Carry out assigned work with consistent precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain productivity in a fast-moving, collaborative workplace
  • Coordinate effectively with team members

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Capacity to learn specialized configurations and perform reliably in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Well-developed organizational ability
  • Careful and consistent attention to detail
  • Dependable work ethic and sense of urgency
  • Clear, effective communication skills
  • Ability to organize tasks by priority
  • Quick to learn and able to work independently
  • Competence with basic mathematics
  • Ability to read and comprehend English
  • Experience using hand tools such as drills, crimpers, wire strippers, screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, or comparable equipment
  • Ability to comply with security rules, safety procedures, instructions, and quality standards
  • English/Spanish bilingual ability preferred
  • Previous electronics experience preferred
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed preferred
