Altra Field Service Representative, Washington, DC (Remote)

Description
- Activate Altra across the territory through authentic relationships, targeted activations, and hands-on support
- Build retailer relationships through in-person visits, product demonstrations, and sales-floor assistance
- Educate retail employees and consumers about Altra products
- Develop local partnerships, run clubs, events, and community initiatives that build brand excitement
- Deliver merchandising and promotional programs
- Represent Altra at local and selected national races, events, and expos
- Coordinate go-to-market plans with Sales Representatives and cross-functional partners
- Provide insights on products, consumer behavior, and market trends
- Keep field reports accurate while managing assets, travel, and expenses
- Expand relationships, brand visibility, territory results, and community engagement
Requirements
- At least one year of specialty retail experience, preferably in running or outdoor retail
- At least two years of experience in marketing, sales, or another customer-facing field role
- Experience fitting and selling technical footwear
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently while remaining connected with the wider team
- Proactive self-starter attitude and enthusiasm for the running and outdoor community
- Familiarity with Altra products is advantageous
- Reside in the Washington, DC area
- Ability to travel and manage field assets, travel, and expenses
