Description

  • Build orchestration layers and backend APIs with .NET and C#
  • Develop and connect AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, and ChatGPT-class models
  • Design generative AI workflows for summarisation, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text or transcription
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation and AI search approaches
  • Use agentic AI tools to speed up coding, refactoring, and complex debugging
  • Deploy and integrate AI models into production APIs, pipelines, and backend services
  • Address technical challenges while contributing to innovative digital products
  • Partner with engineering and product development teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary groups across industries and projects

Requirements

  • At least three years of professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related software engineering roles
  • Academic training in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related discipline
  • Strong professional experience with .NET/C#, including .NET Core and .NET 6/8, and experience building orchestration and backend APIs
  • Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, or ChatGPT-class models at GPT-4o level
  • Experience applying generative AI to summarisation, extraction, filtering, and speech-to-text or transcription workflows
  • Experience with Whisper.NET, Azure Cognitive Services or Speech, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI search patterns
  • Advanced proficiency with agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot
  • Strong understanding of Transformer-based architectures and core machine learning principles
  • Experience deploying or integrating AI models in production APIs, pipelines, or backend systems
  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with engineering and product development teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Must live in Portugal or be legally eligible and willing to live and work there
