AI Content Systems Engineer — Remote in Europe
Build AI-driven automation, content workflows, and infrastructure for Platform Engineering’s community of more than 35,000 platform engineers. This full-time role is fully remote across Europe.
Description
- Own the infrastructure supporting content and design operations, spanning planning, research, AI-assisted production, quality control, publishing, and distribution.
- Lead the content and design factory’s technical direction, including tool selection, automation pipelines, quality systems, and agent orchestration.
- Create complex, multistep workflows and interfaces for content and design production through careful structuring, prompting, and quality assurance.
- Develop expertise with model harnesses and external workflow platforms such as AirOps and n8n.
- Map user journeys and build UI integrations with existing systems, including Supabase databases.
- Develop and maintain workflow and database interfaces with capabilities such as search, data export, and workflow-to-workflow data import.
- Maintain a modular, replaceable technology stack by evaluating tools continuously and switching before dependencies become entrenched.
- Automate repetitive work and reduce manual effort through automation and agent-based workflows.
- Partner with leadership on architecture decisions and the future direction of infrastructure.
- Support and expand a global community of more than 35,000 platform engineers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical expertise with database schemas, REST and GraphQL API integrations, RAG and vector database implementation, and automation pipelines.
- Proficiency using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable products.
- Understanding of professional content development, including structure, tone, narrative, and the qualities that distinguish high-value content.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to own a roadmap and discuss architectural decisions with leadership.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Comfort writing, reviewing, and maintaining production code.
- Availability to work fully remotely from across Europe.
