Adobe AEP Software Engineering Architect

DEPT® is hiring a full-time, remote U.S. Software Engineering Architect to lead Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) architecture and implementations. The role supports enterprise engagements spanning digital experience, customer data, integrations, and marketing technology.

Description

  • Lead technical direction for customer engagements within Adobe’s Services team
  • Design solution architectures and oversee Adobe solution implementations
  • Connect digital experience and marketing technology architecture to business strategy
  • Determine the business drivers and technology capabilities needed to reach the target state
  • Evaluate existing solution architectures and marketing capabilities
  • Define future-state application architectures for customer engagements
  • Develop use cases, objectives, goals, and architecture in partnership with customers
  • Coordinate business strategy, IT roadmaps, and technical deployment teams
  • Communicate recommendations to technical leads and executive stakeholders
  • Bridge communication between business and IT specialists throughout each engagement
  • Expand Adobe’s architecture practice and relay customer insights to product engineering and product management
  • Improve professional services processes and efficiency while preserving delivery quality
  • Advance innovation and technology excellence across Adobe

Requirements

  • Extensive technical and business knowledge of digital marketing use cases across content, data, and customer journeys, including CMS, analytics, personalization, e-commerce, DAM, and mobile engagement
  • At least three years of experience as a solution or application architect, systems integrator, or senior consultant
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise or solution/application integrations involving digital marketing, big data, analytics, testing and optimization, personalization, and activation tools
  • Ability to work with management and project stakeholders, build consensus, and deliver effective customer-facing solutions
  • Ability to uncover business challenges and connect proposed solutions to measurable success criteria
  • Skill in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience creating architectural design methods, technical diagrams, capability maps, and strategic roadmaps
  • Strong leadership and sound judgment in fast-moving environments
  • Ability to manage priorities across several engagements at once
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to build trust and promote efficient solutions
  • Curiosity and capacity to learn unfamiliar technologies and concepts quickly
  • Previous experience at a leading consulting or technology organization
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Experience with negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, and DEPT® participates in E-Verify.
