Accounts Receivable Clerk – Remote Pennsylvania

Process customer payments, refunds, and reconciliations while supporting accurate cash posting at Rentokil Pest Control North America. The role also handles delinquent loan payments, audit requests, and intercompany transactions.

Description

  • Process daily payments by check, lockbox, ACH/EFT, and credit card.
  • Use lockbox and bank files to post payments in the billing system.
  • Open, scan, process, and deposit non-lockbox checks using mobile deposits.
  • Investigate missing or incorrectly applied payments.
  • Reconcile payments against bank records before posting.
  • Issue check and credit card refunds.
  • Review overdue loan payments and assess whether they should be referred to collections.
  • Provide data for audit requests.
  • Review and process chargebacks and reverse non-sufficient-funds payments.
  • Send monthly statements to loan customers.
  • Process bad debt recovery payments.
  • Approve and apply credit memos and adjustments.
  • Handle intercompany payments, transfers, and invoices.

Requirements

  • At least one year of office experience involving data entry or other computer-based work.
  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, or transaction services experience is preferred.
  • Cash processing experience is preferred.
  • A finance or banking background is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Careful attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to work in a drug-free workplace.
