Accounts Payable Domain Trainee – English (Remote Romania)
Support accounts payable operations for Genpact through month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, journal entries, and audit activities. This full-time, entry-level role is remote in Romania and requires English proficiency and accounting knowledge.
Description
- Execute month-end closing activities
- Manage reporting and financial consolidations
- Monitor compliance with established KPIs and SLAs
- Verify that controls are completed on schedule
- Coordinate audit deliverables and provide supporting evidence by deadline
- Prepare and review quarterly, annual, and audited statutory financial statements
- Review and post month-end journal entries
- Prepare and validate balance sheet account reconciliations
- Manage the quarterly intercompany accounting process
- Investigate and clear balancing items
- Strengthen customer relationships and support higher customer satisfaction
- Conduct process update calls with customers as needed
- Spot improvement opportunities and recommend process or automation enhancements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Finance, or a master’s degree in Finance
- C1-level English proficiency
- Practical accounting knowledge with experience in closing and reporting
- Understanding of banking and capital markets
- Strong client relationship skills
- Familiarity with collaboration tools
- Experience using Oracle ERP systems
- Hands-on reconciliation experience
- Knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) processes
- Understanding of regulatory compliance management
- Knowledge of risk management
- Experience using SAP ERP systems
